We designed Studeous from the ground up with privacy and security at the top of our priority list. To ensure that all of our users are safe and secure, we employ a variety of safegaurds to protect our users.

Studeous is a completely opt-in service; informed, express consent is required from each user. Users may terminate their Studeous account at any time.

Users are in complete control of their account. Upon sign up, only the user's name will show on their profile page. Users have the option to display more information about themselves, including their e-mail address, but this information is not displayed on default, nor is it required to be displayed.

Studeous places each user in their own "school" or network, ensuring that the students and teachers will only come in contact with other students and teachers at thier own school.

Studeous allows anyone on the network to flag offensive or illegal content, as well as notify us of suspicious users that may be falsly enrolled in the school network.

At Studeous, we make it our mission to keep our users safe on the web (especailly our youngest ones).
