See where the marks are actually going
Studeous gives tutors and teachers the section-level detail a total score hides: which domains a student is losing marks in, whether they ran out of time, and whether a change between attempts is real movement or ordinary variation.
What you can do
- Assign a test to a student
- Send a full-length test to a student on your roster and see the result the moment they finish.
- Read results by domain
- Every attempt breaks down to the domains the exam publishes, so a weak area has a name rather than being 'the maths section'.
- Separate timing from ability
- Blank answers at the end of a section are reported apart from wrong ones. A pacing problem and a knowledge gap need different lessons.
- Track a student over attempts
- Section scores plotted across attempts, on the exam's own scale, with the measurement band shown so you can tell signal from noise.
- Set question bank practice
- Point a student at the specific domains their results say are costing the most, rather than at the whole bank.
- Keep your own materials
- Studeous replaces the assessment half of your teaching, not the teaching. Nothing here assumes you use our lesson content, because there isn't any.
What we will not tell you
We do not predict a student’s official score as a single number, and we do not produce a “readiness” percentage. A practice test measures a band, and a confident-looking figure derived from it would be a figure we invented.
We also do not rank your students against other people’s. A percentile drawn from a self-selected practice population says more about who chose to sit the test than about the student in front of you.
