TOEFL iBT practice tests
The TOEFL iBT reports academic English on a 1 to 6 band scale, as the average of four section scores for Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking, rounded to the nearest half band.

The score scale
The TOEFL iBT is reported from 1.0 to 6.0, in steps of 0.5.
For a two-year transition after January 2026, score reports also carry a comparable 0–120 score.
